I contacted Rockwood Mortgage to inquire about refinancing my home in Birmingham, MI as I was hearing mortgage rates were down. I drive through Birmingham everyday and noticed this new business next to the Ducati shop on Woodward Ave. I wasn’t sure what to expect but Rocky picked up my call the first time it rang. He explained he was a mortgage broker and how he’d be happy to help me improve my financial situation if it made sense to me. I never felt ANY pressure to move forward with a rate and term refinance. I kid you not, in 9 days I signed a new mortgage note reducing my interest rate from 4.875% to 4.25% and dropping my monthly payment by roughly $120 and removing the PMI. The best part: Rocky structured my file in a way that I did not require an appraisal! Saved me cost and closed my loan in less than 2 weeks! I highly recommend Rocky Billore and Rockwood Mortgage if you’re interested in buying or refinancing a mortgage.
